The Boat in a box Merry Kits are precision machined with a state-of-the-art CNC robot. The Wherry Kits with computer designed finger joints eliminate uncertain scarfing and up-to-date stitch-n-glue assembly eliminates expensive, time consuming jigs. We do the shopping for you - the finest marine grade Okoume plywood (4mm planking/3 mm decks, 9mm frames), pattern grade Mahogany for gunwales and transom, silicon bronze fasteners, light weight fiberglass fabrics for inside taping and outside sheathing, are included. A well written, full color assembly booklet guides you every step of the way. Merry Kits can be assembled in about 50 hours or a dedicated month of part-time effort. Compared to “just plans” - you will save lots of time, build a smoother, fairer hull, and actually save money!
